My first experience with Cryptocurrency began in 2014 when I first started hearing about bitcoin. Like many of you, at that time I thought it was internet play money. But the more I heard of it, the more I thought just maybe there was more to it. So, I researched and read about it. I admit at first it was not an easy concept to understand, mainly because it was totally beyond what was considered normal. This was a new paradigm, and a new way of doing business and thinking of money. I admit I am still not an expert on the ins and outs of every aspect of the blockchain or the many different blockchains and alt. coins out there today. Here is what I do know, when I started to understand the basics, it made perfect sense and it seemed to be a foolproof way to conduct business, not to mention a foolproof monetary system not dependent on any central government or entity.

Anything new is volatile and unpredictable, but bitcoins’ limited supply and expanding user base can only make it stronger and more valuable over time. I am convinced that bitcoin is well beyond the point of no return. At this point it can’t be hacked, stopped, or banned. For the record bitcoin has never been hacked contrary to what some have said, only the exchanges with a central point of failure have been hacked. Also, many self-serving politicians have incorrectly claimed that bitcoin was a good tool for criminals and drug runners, nothing could be further from the truth. Bitcoin transactions on the blockchain are confidential in name but are all recorded on the public blockchain and can be tracked by law enforcement if needed. It would take a stupid criminal to do business on a public blockchain when compared to an untraceable dollar.

I researched and studied Bitcoin and Ethereum for two years before making my first investments in 2016, but I was convinced it was the future and I still am. I dollar cost averaged by buying one bitcoin and several eths per month, when bitcoin was around 600.00 and eth was 11.00, I have made good money, but I have also made some mistakes and lost a good amount as well. In the beginning I made many beginner mistakes, including keeping too much on an exchange without proper security in place and was hacked. More recently I was caught with a substantial amount on a couple of exchanges that filed for bankruptcy. I have also kept a majority in a hard wallet, so I am still well ahead and only intend to get more ahead from this point.

And that is the reason for this site, I wanted somewhere to go for up-to-date information, education, and tools to help you succeed, especially if you are new to crypto and the blockchain. This is a work in progress and will expand accordingly. If you would like to see something that is not here let us know and we will see if we can add it.

To be successful in this life you must stick to your beliefs and hold on for dear life sometimes, but if you expect it and keep moving forward no matter what gets in your way, you will succeed.
